The Pre-Tour for the Jamboree came to a close this morning with our visit to Arlington Cemetery. The young men witnessed the Changing of the Guard. This ceremony along with the reverence of the Cemetery was a fitting way to end our pre-tour. Our experience in Washington D.C. was one to remember and a great way to begin the Jamboree Experience.
We also had some memorable funnies, bloopers and things to be thankful for happen. These include: the boys chasing fire flies that Scoutmaster Jack convinced burned holes in his hat. The experience of a D.C. cloud burst and getting wet. Our first bus driver Eric hopping on board and becoming a tour guide. Four boys missing their alarm this morning and racing to the bus. Our lost camera being found and as you will find out later; our Bus ride Jamboree Game Show. It's been a great few days and here is some highlights of Arlington.
